These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pear website and waitlist (the "Service"). Pear is operated by Iris Connect LLC ("Pear", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Pear

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By joining the waitlist, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. What the Service is today

Right now, the Service is a pre-launch, informational website and waitlist. It lets you learn about Pear and register interest. The dating product itself is not yet available, and features, timing, and availability may change or be discontinued at any time.

3. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist registers your interest. It does not guarantee access, an account, or any specific launch date. We may contact you about early access and product updates, and you may opt out at any time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

submit false, spam, or automated entries, or someone else's information without consent;
attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Pear name, logo, text, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or reuse it without our written permission.

6. Third-party services

We rely on third parties to run the Service (for example, our form/email processor and hosting provider). Their handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy and their own terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pear will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.

9. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, where Iris Connect LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
